Interested and qualified medical professionals are invited to apply for selection and engagement Contract Medical Officers in ONGC, Cauvery Asset, Karaikal as per the details given below:

3.) Place of Duty & Duty Pattern:-
 Contract Medical officer-Field Duty: Drill Site Accommodation of ONGC Drill Sites / Production
Installations on 14 days ON /OFF with 12 hours shift per day.
 Others : ONGC Dispensary / Office on General Duty
4.) Other facilities (For Contract Medical Officers-Field Duty only)
1.) Free accommodation in A/C bunk house at Drill Site/ Installations and free food during
the duty period.
2.) Reimbursement of AC 2 tier Rail Fare/bus fares for to & fro Journey from family station to
place of duty.
5.) Other Terms and Conditions:
a.) Engagement is purely temporary on contract basis and can be terminated by giving one
month’s notice from either side.
b.) Out of 24 vacancies in Contract Medical Officer – Field Duty, two posts will be filled only
after commissioning of new Production Site Accommodation.
c.) The engagement of Contract Medical Officer-General Duty is only for the period till the
joining of regular ONGC doctor.
d.) No claim for regular appointment in ONGC by virtue of their having worked on contract
basis will be entertained.
e.) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
f.) The qualification for the above mentioned posts should be from recognized University
along with Permanent Registration Certificate from Medical Council of India.
g.) Candidature of candidates submitting false certificates or suppression/submission of
incorrect information shall be liable for disqualification/rejection at any stage.
h.) Engagement on contract will be subject to medical fitness of candidates.
i.) Selected candidates shall be required to sign a contract agreement as per the terms and
conditions of ONGC.
Interested candidates for walk-in-interview shall report at 08:30 hrs for
registration on 14.06.2018, at the venue mentioned above, with the filled in application
form which is attached herewith with all original testimonials, one set of attested photocopies
and one recent passport size photograph.
