1 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

i) BE in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Science and Engineering/
Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute
 OR
B.Sc. and MCA from a recognized University/ Institute. MCAs should have done a course in computer organization and Design/ Architecture.
 Post Graduation or higher qualifications in areas relevant to the role will be given preference.
 AND
ii) Working knowledge of statistical tools viz:- SAS, R,SPSS/Python.
 OR
Should have undergone a course in statistics/ analytics/data mining. Must have experience
(1) As Head or Second in command of its digital and/or analytic vertical in a medium/big size
organization, heading a group of professional of about 20 or more, for minimum 03 years,
and the organization serving a large customer base. The candidate who has worked in web
design/development and analytics for minimum 02 years each in these verticals
will be preferred
 OR
07 years Experience of planning and executing digital/ analytics activities in the financial sector with a strong customer base and a well defined and implemented digital & analytics functions.

AND
(2) Must have handled  technology solutions  on digital products,  statistical modelling,
 risk management and  business analytics.

2 BRIEF JOB PROFILE:
• Chief Digital Officer will be reporting directly to Managing Director & CEO and his prime responsibility
shall be Digital transformation of the Bank, Creation of Digital Banking, Digital revenue, define bank’s
Digital Strategy and solutions – to offer customers personalised, convenient and safe digital banking.
• Establish own digital ecosystem to build new businesses.
• Facilitate in positioning the Bank as a Digital Brand by designing digital roadmap and ensuring its
implementation at ground level.
• Ensuring product leadership and digital innovation.
• Creation of Digital Branches
• Create new digital tools to build and test new technology driven products to reduce time to market.
• Ensure development of analytics based services and products, data warehousing, data mining and
data marting.
• Strategically leverage “big data” to create distinctive product and service offerings.
3 CONTRACT PERIOD
• The term of office of the holder of post shall be for 3 years.
• The contract can be extended for a further period of 02 years, after reviewing performance
annually.
• The contract can be terminated at one months’ notice (or surrender of one months’ compensation
in lieu thereof) on either side.
 4 REMUNERATION
• Attractive Compensation Package. However remuneration will not be a limiting factor for a suitable
candidate and can be negotiated.
 5 LEAVE
 The Official will be eligible for leave as under:
• 12 days Casual Leave (CL) in a year at the rate of 1 day for every month of service.
• Privilege Leave (PL) computed at one day for every 11 days of service on duty, provided that at
the commencement of service no PL can be availed of before completion of 11 months of service
on duty.
• If the Officer leaves the job during the contract period, Bank shall have the discretion to adjust the
unavailed PL not exceeding 15 days per year against the notice period.
• There will be no provision for leave encashment

 6 SELECTION PROCEDURE
• The selection will be made on the basis of personal interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview.
 7 HOW TO APPLY

24.08.2016 to 09.09.2016 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

(2) Candidates are then required to go to the Bank’s website www.pnbindia.in Link Recruitment and
click the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” to open the On-Line Application Form.
(3) To register their application candidates will be entering the required information in the online
application form. After that a provisional registration number will be generated by the system and
displayed on the screen.
(4) Upload scanned photograph.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of
the data filled in the online application will be permitted.

10 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
