Instructions For Submitting Online Applications
General Instructions:
Read the Instructions carefully and select "I Agree" and Press 'Start' button to proceed further.
Delete the cache memory before starting the registration process.(Press Ctrl+h).

The candidates are advised to read the detailed advertisement of the ESIC Region for which candidate wants to apply which is available on the website of ESIC www.esic.nic.in and /or Regional Website of ESIC carefully before filling the On-line application.
The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at sole discretion of ESIC.
Only Indian Nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply for the above posts.
The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-serviceman Category will be applicable as per the Govt. of India Instructions.
Category and Sub-Category(SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-serviceman etc.) once filled by the candidate in the Online Application will not be changed .
Before starting to fill up the on-line application, the candidate should keep at hand the following details/documents:-
 a) His/her educational qualifications as per eligibility criteria (from 10th/ Matriculation onwards) with percentage of marks obtained (please calculate percentage from
   CGPA / OGPA in advance).
 b) His/her personal details.
 c) His/her scanned photo and scanned signature.
The candidate are advised to carefully choose the Centre of Examination while filling the Online Application. No request for Change of Centre of Examination shall be entertained by ESI Corporation. The ESIC however reserves the right to cancel any Centre and ask the candidates of that centre to appear from another centre. ESIC also reserves the right to divert candidates of any centre to some other/additional Centre to take the examination in case of insufficient/more number of candidates at a prticular centre.
How To Apply:
Candidates are required to apply On-line Only. Manual/paper applications will not be entertained. Applications sent through other modes will not be accepted/entertained and no further intimation will be sent in this regard.
Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active during the entire recruitment process. Registration number, password, and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mailbox is not redirected to your junk / spam folder). The candidates are requested to check regularly their e-mail for any communication from ESIC. The candidate should not share e-mail ID or password with any other person.
Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in the on-line application. Any mistake committed by the candidate shall be his/her sole responsibility. YOU CAN EDIT THE INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMISSION OF STEP-I, AFTER EDITING ONCE, THE INFORMATION CANNOT BE EDITED AGAIN.
The candidates should ensure the completion of Step-I and Step-II of the registration process and depositing of application fee (as applicable) in any branch of State Bank of India by the stipulated date and time given in the Detailed Notification.
Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case, neither it shall be held reserved for any other recruitment or selection process in future.
Candidates agreeing the terms & conditions may apply by clicking 'I Agree' Checkbox given below and pressing the 'Start' button.
First, the candidate has to sign up with valid Email ID as user name. After sign up, system will generate one time password(OTP) Link and send to their registered Email ID for generation of password.
Now the candidate has to login as a registered user and change the password as per his/her choice.
The candidate should now login with new password and fill up all the desired information i.e. Personal Details, Experience Details, Qualification Details & Address Details etc. correctly.
On completion of Step-I, a message will be received in candidate’s registered email id conveying his/her registration and a link for printing the bank challan to deposit the application fees. The candidate should take a print of the bank challan. This completes the Step-I of on-line registration process.
The SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen/Female Candidates and ESIC Employees are exempted from payment of Application fee and Bank Challan will not be generated in these cases. The SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen/Female Candidates and ESIC Employees can directly complete Step-II as these candidates are not required to pay the Application fee.
Depositing Application fee in State Bank of India
The Candidates who are required to pay the Application Fee should deposit the requisite application fee by presenting the bank challan printed after Step-I to any branch of State Bank of India on any bank working day (after minimum 24 hrs of generation of challan). After accepting the application fee, the Bank will return one copy of bank challan to the candidate as a token of receipt. The copy of challan will contain a journal number & date of transaction.
Candidates are advised to keep with them the copy of the bank challan as a token of remittance of fee for future reference.
The candidates are advised to submit ONLY SINGLE ONLINE APPLICATION. However, if somehow, he/she submits multiple online applications, then he/she must ensure that online application with the highest "Application Number" is complete in all respects including fee. The applicants, who submit multiple online applications, should note that only the online application with highest "Application Number" shall be entertained by the ESIC and fee paid against one "Application Number" shall not be adjusted against any other "Application Number".
The candidates who are required to deposit application fee may check and confirm their payment status on the next working day after deposit of the application fees. The link for uploading of scanned photograph and signature will become active after the confirmation of payment of fees has been received from the Bank. In some cases, it may take upto 48 hours for the link to become active. In case the candidate has deposited the fees at Bank and he is not able to confirm payment on ESIC website even after 48 hours of the deposit of the fees, then he/she should fill in the details in the “Grievance Redressal Form” given at the end of this Online Application and send the same by email along with the scanned copy of the paid challan to esicums@gmail.com Only on confirmation of payment of fees, candidate will be able to access Step-II of application for uploading of Photograph and Signature.
After Completing Step-I in case of SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female Candidates & ESIC Employees and after depositing the application fee in the Bank in case of candidates who are required to application fee, candidate should keep the following items ready for completion of Step-II of registration:Clear scanned copies of latest photograph, signature. In case the face in the photograph and signature is not clear, the candidate's application liable to be rejected.
Instructions regarding scanning of Photograph, Signature: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature as per the process given below. They should note that only jpeg format is acceptable:
 i. Photograph Image:
 • Photograph must be a recent passport size taken after July 2015
 • Make sure that the picture is in colours , taken against a light-colours , preferably white, background.
 • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
 • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
 • If you have to use flash, ensure there’s no “red-eye”.
 • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
 • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
 • Dimensions 150w X 200h pixels (preferred).
 • Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb.
 • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, number of colors etc., during the process of scanning.
 ii. Signature image:
• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen.
 • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page.
• Dimensions 140w X 60h pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb.
 • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb.
