RECRUITMENT RALLY GROUP 'X' AND 'Y' :: MADHYA PRADESH 03 - 09 DECEMBER 2015

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from the designated Districts of State of Madhya Pradesh and State of Uttar Pradesh (Lalitpur & Jhansi Districts only) to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘Y’ {For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor (GTI) and Indian Air Force (Police) [IAF(P)] only} Trades and Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades will be held at Collectorate, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh) from 03 December 2015 to 09 December 2015

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
3.   Date of Birth Block.  
(a)   Candidates born between 01 February 1996 to 31 May 1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally.  (b)   In case, a candidate clears the Selection Procedure then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.
4.   Educational Qualification   (a)   For Group ‘Y’{For Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades.  (i)   Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR (ii)   Passed Two years Vocational Course recognized by Association of Indian Universities (CBSE / Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Education Kerala) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
(b)   For Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades.       (i)   Passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.  OR (ii)   Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science /  Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.  Note:     Exact aggregate % of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent/Two years Vocational Course/Three years Diploma Course OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board/Polytechnic Institute will only be considered  (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not to be rounded off to 50%).
 
5.   Domicile Requirement.   To be eligible to appear in the rally at Collectorate, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh), the candidates are required to satisfy the following conditions:  (a)   Boards recognized/affiliated by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will only be  permitted.  (b)   The School / College / Institute from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical / administrative limits of the specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 2 above) of State of Madhya Pradesh or State of Uttar Pradesh (Lalitpur & Jhansi Districts only).  If the name of District is not mentioned with the name of Institution in the certificate / marks sheet of qualifying examination, the  candidates are to produce ‘Domicile Certificate’ issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM or any official authorised by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh or by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.   (c)   Permanent Domicile of specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 2 above) of State of Madhya Pradesh or State of Uttar Pradesh (Lalitpur & Jhansi Districts only) who have passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India.  However, such candidates have to produce the Domicile Certificate prior to commencement of examination from appropriate authority as given in sub-paragraph 5(b) above.  (d)   Sons of Serving Air Force Personnel, irrespective of their domicile status may be permitted to appear in the rally subject to submission of Son of serving Air Force personnel (SOAFP) certificate (format available on website www.airmenselection.gov.in)  (or) PPO, Discharge Book, Service Certificate issued from AFRO for Sons of retired/deceased/discharged Air Force personnel, in the following categories: -  (i)   Father/Mother is presently serving in any Air Force Unit located in the specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 2 above) of State of Madhya Pradesh or State of Uttar Pradesh (Lalitpur & Jhansi Districts only).  (ii)   Ex-IAF personnel/families of deceased personnel who are residing in the specified Districts (as mentioned in Paragraph 2 above) of State of Madhya Pradesh or State of Uttar Pradesh (Lalitpur & Jhansi Districts only)  (on production of proof of minimum stay of one year along with Original and a photocopy of Discharge Book, Service Certificate issued from AFRO for wards of retired/deceased/discharged Air Force personnel).
6.   Medical Standards.    
 
(a)   General Medical Standards for Group ‘Y’ {For Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades and Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades are as follows: -   (i)     Chest     :    Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm  (ii)    Weight     :    Proportionate to height and age.  (iii)   Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.  (iv)   Hearing     :    Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.  (v)    Dental     :    Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.   (vi)   Health     :   Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages.  He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments.  Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain. (vii)  Body Tattoo   :   Permanent body tattoos on inner face of the fore arms (inside of elbow to the wrist), Back (dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of palm and Tribals with tattoos which are as per custom and traditions of their tribes only are permitted.  However, right to decide on  acceptability/ unacceptability of the individual rests with the Selection Centre.  Candidates with permanent body tattoos are to submit a  photograph of the tattoo with details of size and type of the Tattoo.
   (b)   Height, Leg Length, Visual Standards and Colour Vision for Group ‘Y’ {For Automobile Technician, GTI & IAF(P) only} Trades and  Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades are as follows: -
