State Bank of India invites on-line applications from Indian citizens
 for appointment in following Specialist Cadre Officers posts in State Bank Group.

VACANCIES AND OTHER DETAILS IN RESPECT OF VARIOUS GRADES AS DETAILED BELOW:
1. Chief Medical Officer Post Code: CMOF SMGS-V – One post- Age below 45 Years -
MD/MS with 10 years work experience or MBBS Degree
 with 15 years work experience as a General Physician 
and some experience as a Hospital Suprintendent. 
(Relaxation in experience can be considered in deserving cases 
of higher/additional qualification).

2. Chief Manager (Economist)  Post Code:CMEC – One post
Post Graduate Degree in Economics or
MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGPM/PGDM
(Preferably in Finance) which should
be a 2 years full time course.
Courses completed through
correspondence / part-time are not
eligible. The Institute should be
recognized/approved by Govt.
bodies / AICTE.
Other requirements:
Candidates should have excellent
communication & writing skills.
Candidates having hands on
experience in econometric packages
like STATA, SAS & EVIEWS will be
given preference 

Minimum 5 years experience as an
Economist or Analyst with Financial
Institutions/Banks/Rating Agencies/
Analytics Firm/Reputed Brokerage
Agencies.
Preference will be given to
candidates having background in
analytics, macroeconomic
forecasting & analysis.
Experience with an industry,
chamber and/or analytics firm will
be an added advantage.

3. Manager (Chartered Accountant) Post Code :  M G C A 2posts
Qualified Chartered Accountant
Minimum 3 years experience in
Accounts/Taxation/ US GAAP/
Statutory Audit areas in reputed
organisation.Candidates having own
practice are also eligible to apply.
4. Manager (Official Language) Post Code : M G O L 3 posts
Post –graduate degree in Hindi
with English as a Subject at degree
level or post graduate degree in
Sanskrit with Hindi & English as
subjects at degree level.
Minimum 5 years experience of
translation work from English to Hindi
and vice versa in full time post in
reputed organization.

5. Deputy Manager (Security) Post Code: D M S E – 14 posts
An officer with minimum 5 years commissioned service in Army/ Navy/
Air Force or a Police Officer not below the rank of ASP/Deputy SP with
minimum 5 years service in that rank or officer of identical rank with minimum
5 years service in para-military services. Officers from the fighting arms will
be given preference.

6. Deputy Manager (Law) Post Code: D M L A – 4 posts
Graduate with a degree in Law or a
Law Graduate who has passed 5
years integrated Law course from a
recognized University in India.
The candidate should be enrolled as
an Advocate with the Bar Council and
should have (i) minimum 2 yrs active
practice as an Advocate in a) Civil
Court or b) Solicitor's Firms or c) in the
legal department of a Central / State
Government or Scheduled Bank/
Public Sector Undertaking/ Company
or (ii) Holding the post of Munsif, Civil
Judge (Junior or Senior) for a period
of 2 years or (iii) With a combined
period of experience of 2 years in (i) &
(ii) above . Experience gained before
enrolment as an advocate will not be
counted for eligibility. or
(iv) Candidates who have not enrolled
with the bar Council but were
employed in the legal department of
Banks / Institutions for a minimum
period of 2 years within 6 months
from the date of declaration of final
result of graduation in Law, are also
eligible to apply subject to fulfillment
of all other eligibility criteria

7. Deputy Manager (Civil Engg.) Post Code: D M C E – 5 posts
A degree in Civil Engineering from a
recognized University/ Institution with
60% marks. Candidates with post
graduate degree will be preferable
Minimum 5 years experience in
construction/ maintenance of
multistoried commercial/ institutional/
residential buildings involving RCC
framed construction or projects
involving pile foundation, controlled
concrete work, mixed design, testing
of materials or projects, planning &
control (preferably computer based).
Some experience in design office or
material testing laboratory is desirable
besides experience in preparation of
cost estimates for construction work
and checking of contractors bills
8. Deputy Manager (Electrical Engg.) Post Code: D M E E – 3 POSTS
Graduate degree in Electrical
Engineering from a recognized
University/Institution with 60% marks.
Candidates with Post graduation
qualification will be preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in
installation, handling & maintenance
of all electrical equipments viz UPS
generators, energy saving devices,
starters, motors, control panels, HT-LT,
switch gears, cabling, water pumps,
air conditioning equipments, lifts etc.
and also in preparation of tender
specification and evaluation thereof.

9. Deputy Manager (Fire,) Post Code: D M F S – 1 post
Graduate of the Institute of Fire
Engineers (India / U.K.) or should
have completed Divisional
Officers Course at the National
Fire Service College (NFSC),
Nagpur. or should be B.E. (Fire )
from NFSC
Candidate should have intimate
Knowledge of Hydrant system ,fire
detection system, sprinkler systems
and evacuation problems and also
have a minimum seven years
experience as Station Officer or
equivalent post in a City Fire Brigade
or in State Fire Service or In-Charge
Fire Office in big Industrial Complex.
Practical experience of 5 years is
essential in case of candidate
possessing B.E. (Fire) degree from
National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

10. Asstt. Manager (System) Post Code: A M S Y -5 posts 20
