No Post Qualifications
I. Office Superintendent (Regular) – One
(i) Graduate (10+2+3 system) with minimum 05 years office experience in a supervisory position in a Govt establishment or 07 years experience as UDC or equivalent in a school; AND
(ii) Ability to correspond independently in English.
(iii) The condition of being a graduate may be waived for ex-servicemen who had attained the rank of JCOs in the Clerical Cadre.
(i) Extensive Knowledge of Office Procedures in Schools / government establishments.
(ii) High proficiency of Computer office applications and ability to work in a network enabled office environment.
II. Accountant (Regular) – One
(a) Essential. (i) B. Com (10+2+3 system) with thorough knowledge of double entry system of accounting; should have worked as an Accountant for at least 10 years in a Govt or private organization and must be fully conversant with maintenance of accounts in double entry system; and Ability to correspond in English independently. (b) Desirable. (i) Extensive Knowledge of Accounts Procedures in Schools / government establishments. (ii) High proficiency of Computer office applications and ability to work in a network enabled office environment.
III. Quartermaster (Regular) – One
(a) Essential. (i) B.A /B. Com. (10+2+3 system), (ii) At least 5 years experience as UDC (Stores) or as Quartermaster or an ex-serviceman preferably a JCO with at least 10 years experience in handling and accounting of stores. (b) Desirable. (i) Should have undergone a Quartermaster’s / Storekeeper’s Course. (ii) Extensive Knowledge of Store Keeping Procedures in Schools / government establishments. (iii) High proficiency of Computer office applications and ability to work in a network enabled office environment.
IV. Lower Division Clerk (Regular) – One (a) Essential. (i) A pass in Class XII/ Pre degree. (ii) Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute. (iii) Knowledge of shorthand and ability to correspond in English and computer operation (b) Desirable (i) Knowledge of Office Procedures in Schools / government establishments. (ii) Proficiency in Computer office applications and ability to work in a network enabled office
V. Driver (Regular – One and Contractual – One) (a) Essential (i) Pass in Matriculation Exam (ii) Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License (iii) Minimum of Two years experience in driving School / College bus. (Attach certificate from employers) should not have been charged for an offence under SS. 279, 336, 337, 338, 304a of the I.P.C., 1860 during the period of requisite experience and should not have been challaned for traffic violation like jumping red light, improper parking, violating stop line, unauthorized lane changing, overtaking etc (b) Desirable (i) Ability to converse in Hindi / English (ii) Basic knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance
VI. General Employees-Skilled (Regular – Four and Contractual – Two) (a) Essential. (i) A pass in Matriculation. (ii) Certificate course from Govt recognized institutes / ITI / Diploma in any Two of the following: Electrician, a competent certificate holder for regular operation/meter reading of HT power station or Machinery Operator, for Water Pump, Laundry, Diesel Generator or Operation of Office Equipments including Video Projection Systems or Adequate proficiency in three sports / games with knowledge of sports field layout and its preparation or Adequate Knowledge in Gardening, grooming of lawns, flower beds, herbal gardens etc. (b) Desirable (i) Basic Proficiency in Computer office applications and ability to work on simple computer applications.
VII. Librarian (Contractual) (a) Essential (i) Graduate (10+2+3 system) with Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institute. (ii) Minimum Two years experience in an educational institution (iii) Ability to converse fluently in English (b) Desirable Qualifications (i) Bachelors degree (10+2+3 system) in Library Science. (ii) Experience of working in networked office environment and using library software. (iii) Proven proficiency in any Sport / Game
VIII. Matron /Nursing Assistant (Contractual) (a) Essential (i) Graduate (10+2+3 system) with ability to converse fluently in English (ii) Nursing diploma / Degree. (b) Desirable Qualifications (i) Bachelors degree (10+2+3 system) in Home Science / Psychology. (ii) Preference to ladies with experience of handling children in residential schools/ hostels. (iii) Adequate proficiency of working in a computer networked office environment. (iv) Ability to communicate effectively in English
Important Eligibility Information:
a) Age. Below 50 (Fifty) years as on 01 Oct 2014 for all posts. Nationality. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. All India Transferability. All the above posts except General Employees (Skilled) will be on All India transferable basis.
b) Pay Scale – For Ser Nos I & II-- PB-9300 - 34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200.00,
For Ser No III-- PB PB-5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2800.00,
For Ser No IV-- PB PB-5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs 1900.00,
For Ser No V--Regular Post - PB PB-5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs 1900.00;
For Ser No V, Contractual Post - Consolidated pay of Rs 9,000.00 per month.
For Ser No VI--. Regular post - PB PB-5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs 1800.00;
For Ser No VI, Contractual Post - Consolidated pay of Rs 7500.00 per month,
For Ser No VII-- Consolidated pay of Rs 9000.00 per month,
For Ser No VIII. Consolidated pay of Rs 9000.00 per month
c) Medical Standards. Applicants must be medically fit. Medical standards will be the same as those applicable to similar posts under the Govt of Andhra Pradesh.
d) Character Certificate. Candidates will attach with the application two certificates of good character from two distinguished persons, Member of Parliament, Member of Legislative Assembly or Gazetted Officers not related to the candidate.
e) All regular posts will be on probation for a minimum period of one year and upon confirmation will be All India transferable basis with Pay and Allowances as per the VI CPC and policies of Sainik Schools Society. Applicable allowances include DA, Gratuity, Contributory Pension as per New Pension Scheme, LTC, Bonus and Medical Allowance, subsidized schooling for maximum two children and entitled Accommodation and for limited free Electrical units, as per existing policy.
f) For Ser Nos VII & VIII, Free Messing for self with the Cadets in the Cadets’ Mess during the academic session.
g) Reservation and relaxation of age is applicable as per the existing Govt rules.
h) Applicants with higher qualifications and experience, proficiency in sports/games, NCC etc. will be given added credits during the short-listing process and selection process/interview. Date of Written Test and Interview: Date for Written Test and Interview would be intimated later after due short-listing of applications. How to apply?
