Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navaratna Central Public Sector undertaking, is a premier Aeronautical
Industry of South East Asia, with 20 Production/Overhaul/Service Divisions and 10 co-located R&D Centers spread across
the Country. HAL’s spectrum of expertise encompasses design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of
Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems and Structural
Components for Satellite & Launch Vehicles.

HAL, over the last seven decades, has grown progressively into an integrated Aerospace Organization with the indigenous
design & development of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH-Dhruv), Intermediate Jet Trainer (IJT) & Light Combat Aircraft
(LCA-Tejas). The ongoing major projects & programmes include ALH (both in military & civil roles), IJT, LCA, Pilotless Target
Aircraft (PTA), Su-30 MKI, Hawk (Advanced Jet Trainer) & Dornier -228 (Light Transport Aircraft). Aligning with the
emerging future requirements, HAL has conceptualized the indigenous development of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), Basic
Turboprop Trainer Aircraft (HTT-40), Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) & Indian Multi-Role Helicopter (IMRH). HAL will codesign
& co-develop the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft & Multi Role Transport Aircraft with foreign partners.
HAL is looking for candidates for appointment as Senior Medical Officer (Grade-III)- (Radiology, Medicine, Industrial Health,
Anaesthesia, OB&G), Medical Officer(General Duty)/ Fire Officer/ Engineer(Civil)-(Grade-II) & Assistant Security Officer
(Grade-I).

iii) Successful completion of one year training course conducted by Central Government for those selected for the posts of  Intelligence Officers in the Central Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analysis Wing; OR
iv) Successful completion of Training conducted by the central government for candidates selected for the post of Sub Inspectors in the CISF or successful completion of one year training conducted by Home Ministry,Government of India, for SI in CBI; OR
v) 52 weeks training course of Instructions for IAF Police in the rank of Sergeant, Junior Warrant Officer, Warrant Officer and Master Warrant Officer; OR
vi) Two years PG Degree (M Sc) in Forensic Science & Criminology acquired after (10+2+3); OR
vii) Two years PG Degree (MA) in the following Subjects,acquired after Graduation (10+2+3):-MA Sociology/ Economics/ Psychology/Public Administration/ Criminology/ Political Science/ Anthropology/ Human Rights/ Media Studies/ Social Policy/ Public Policy; OR
viii) Bachelor's Degree with 2 years PG Degree / PG Diploma / MBA / MSW / MA (3 / 4 + 2 years after 10+2) with specialization in Human Resources / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Labour Management / Organizational Development /
Human Resource Development / Labour Welfare etc., from Institutes / Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities.
Note: Candidates possessing the qualifications indicated at Sl.Nos. (i) to (v) and who apply for the post will be called for Written Test (Grade I). The condition of minimum 60% of marks [50% for SC/ST] in the qualifying examination for calling candidates for
Written Test (Grade I) would apply only in respect of the qualifications indicated at Sl.Nos (vi) to (viii).

SELECTION PROCEDURE
FIRE OFFICER & ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER
For the posts of Assistant Security Officer & Fire Officer, selections will be made through Written Test and Interview.
The Written Test will be of Objective type and 2 ½ hours duration. The Test will be in 3 parts. Part I will consist of 20
questions on General Awareness. Part II will consist of 40 questions on English & Reasoning. Part III will consist of 100
questions on the concerned Discipline. No negative Marks.
In order to become eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant Security Officer & Fire Officer, UR/OBC candidates should have
secured a minimum of 60% marks and SC/ST candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks, in the aggregate,
of all the Semesters/ Years or corresponding CGPA Ratings/ Gradations in their qualifying examinations [Graduation as well
as Professional qualification (wherever applicable)]. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of marks/ percentage scored in the
qualifying examination(s) as applicable to the respective posts would only be called for the Written Tests/ Interview (both
General & Reserved candidates), at the discretion of the Management. Date, Time and Venue of the Written Test/ Interview
will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates by E-mail / HAL Website / by Post. Candidates short listed for
Interview are required to bring the Certificates / Documents (Original and attested Photocopies) in proof of Age,
Qualification, Experience, Caste, Training, Disability (As applicable), Ex-Servicemen discharge book (As applicable) etc and
passport size photographs at the time of Interview.
ENGINEER (CIVIL) & MEDICAL DISCIPLINES
The Selections for Engineer (Civil) and all the Medical disciplines will be done through Interview. Date, Time and Venue of
the Interview will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates by E-mail / HAL Website / by Post.
For shortlisting for Interview to the post of Engineer (Civil), the candidates possessing more relevant experience will be
considered first. In case of tie in the relevant experience also then the candidates who secure more marks in the qualifying
examination (i.e. qualification prescribed for the post) will be considered first. In case marks are also same, senior in age
will be considered first.
For Interview to the posts in Medical Disciplines, shortlisting of candidates will be done based on Experience/ aggregate
percentage of marks in MBBS as per rules.
Candidates short listed for Interview are required to bring the Certificates / Documents (Original and attested Photocopies)
in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Caste, Training, Disability (As applicable), Ex-Servicemen discharge book (As
applicable) etc and passport size photographs at the time of Interview.

Last date of receipt of applications is 09.08.2014. Applications received after due date will be rejected.
