Filling up of the posts of Chief Flight Operations Inspector and Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) on ad hoc basis on contract in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation against newly created regular posts.


Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up the following posts on ad hoc basis on contract initially for a period of three years in the Pay Scale, Grade pay and allowances as detailed below:

i. Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 10000 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance of Rs.70000. (The total emoluments at the
beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 6,05,400 (approx) per month. 

ii. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 8900 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance of Rs.60000 (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 5,92,890 (approx) per month.

iii. In case of retired / medically unfit candidates for the post of Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), fixed remuneration may be as per the recommendations of the Selection Committee [not be less than Rs.5,00,000 (approx) per month].

iv. In case of retired / medically unfit candidates for the post of Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), fixed remuneration may be as per the recommendations of the Selection Committee [not be less than Rs.4,75,000 (approx) per month)].
2. The details of eligibility of these posts are at Annexure A.
3. The application in the prescribed proforma from the eligible and interested officers are invited which should reach the undersigned alongwith NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from present employer latest by 18th July 2014. (Applications received after the closing date or
otherwise found incomplete will not be considered). The officers should ensure that the up-todate photocopies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last five years, a certificate from the employer(s) indicating accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency, alongwith Integrity Certificate and a statement of major/minor penalty, imposed, if any, during preceding last 5 years be sent by the present employer(s), if applicable.

(ii) Should have an Open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all-up-weight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.
(iii) Total experience of not less than 7,000 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft.
(iv)Should have held the qualification of an examiner approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence Services.
(v) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.

Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
(v) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.
