HAL Helicopter MRO Division- Helicopter Complex, Bangalore is currently looking for Ex-Servicemen candidates (XSM) for engagement on contract basis as Aircraft Technicians for outstation Bases in the following Trades.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSTS
Minimum 03 years of hands on experience in maintaining / servicing of helicopters in Airframe / Engine / Avionics trades (as applicable).
SKILLS & ABILITIES
1. Should have at least 03 years of experience (as on 16/08/2014) in having worked on
servicing of Helicopters. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in
1st & 2nd line servicing of ALH Helicopters.
2. Candidates from Engine Trade should have experience on Helicopter engines. Preference
will be given to candidates having experience in 1st & 2nd line servicing of TM series
engines/ Artouste IIIB engine.
3. Should be able to work independently for defect rectification / servicing of Helicopters.

Maximum age limit for all posts is 28 years as on 16/08/2014 . Reservation /Relaxation /
Concessions for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD and XSM categories would be made as per Government Directives. However, the maximum age limit with all relaxations should not exceed 55 years.

PLACE OF POSTING
Selected candidates will be posted to HAL Customer bases which are located in states like UP, Uttarakhand, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir. However, they are liable to be transferred to any place in India where HAL has Divisions / Offices.

EMOLUMENTS
Ex-Servicemen technicians engaged on contract basis will be paid consolidated
emoluments (Basic+DA+HRA) based on their post qualification experience. The consolidated emoluments per month can vary between Rs.18,300/- to Rs.21,400/-. They are also eligible for Washing Allowance, Conveyance Allowance / Reimbursement, Reimbursement of School Fee in respect of dependent children, as per prevailing rules.

APPLICATION FEE
The application fee of Rs. 200/- which is non-refundable, is to be sent in the form of
Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India in favour of ‘HAL - Helicopter MRO Division’,
payable at Bangalore. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/PWD category are exempted from
payment of Application Fee.

HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates may send their applications, duly filled, in the prescribed format
as at Annexure-1 along with the Demand Draft, certificates / marks cards / documents
(self attested Photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Training, Caste
(SC/ST/OBC certificate in the prescribed format), Disability (as applicable), Exservicemen discharge book etc by ordinary post only so as to reach on or before
16/08/2014 to the following address. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted. The candidate is required to write his name and post applied for on the reverse side of Demand Draft, which should be forwarded to the following address as mentioned against each post, superscribing on the envelope, in bold, the post applied for, discipline and
advertisement Number.
