NOTIFICATION FOR THE TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING STAFF
RECRUITMENT ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the eligible candidates for the
appointment of Teaching and Non-Teaching Positions on contractual basis for a period of one
year in ANU College of Engineering & Technology, Acharya Nagarjuna University. The details
pertaining to the number of posts, qualifications required, consolidated remuneration and
application format are available in our website www.anu.ac.in. The last date for submitting
applications along with a demand draft (of any Nationalised Bank) of Rs. 500/- is to be drawn in
favour of the Registrar, Acharya Nagarjuna University is on or before 28.06.2014. The
University reserves the right to fill or not to fill all or any of the position(s) without assigning any
reason.

Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in relevant subject with First class either in BE /
B.Tech. or M.E / M.Tech.
1. B.Tech & M.Tech in concerned discipline with first class.

ii) Environmental Engineering
iii) Geotechnical Engineering
iv) Structural Engineering
v) Water Resource Engineering
vi) Engineering Geology (B.E. & M.Tech) (Remote sensing & gis)

i) Power Systems
c) Computer Science & Engineering
i) Digital image processing
d) Mechanical Engineering
i) Machine Design
Non-Teaching (Lab Technicians

(i) Polytechnic Diploma in CE with first Class

Assistant Professors in the Department of Chemistry:
1. Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s
degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from
an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited
by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along with
those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission,
registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum
Standards and Procedures for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree), Regulations, 2009 and so
adopted by the University, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
