The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is a Premier Autonomous Institute under Ministry of Power, Government of India, promoting applied research in the field on power. It has several laboratories throughout India and state-of-the art facilities for evaluation of electrical materials and performance of power equipment. It also acts as the National Level Testing & Certification Authority and is the apex body for initiating and coordinating Research and Development in Power sector. The Institute intends to engage Senior Consultant (1 No.)
exclusively for ‘Poly Chlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) project’ “Reduction and Elimination of PCB’s, prioritizing the power sector in India” for a period of 21 months (variable) as under:

Emoluments: Ranging from Rs. 66,000 to 99,000/- pm
(The emoluments will be fixed by the panel keeping in view of the candidates qualifications
Age: Between 45-65 yrs
Essential Education Qualification : I class Graduate in Electrical Engineering
or Post Graduate in Science preferably specialized in Materials Science/ Engineering.
Experience : 8 years or more, desirably in development of materials-schemes in
PN: CPRI reserves the right for relaxation of experience in case of deserving candidates.

fill in the application in all respects and attach copies of all certificates of
educational qualifications, experience etc.

Checklist: Following documents must be attached along with the application form.
a) Copies of Secondary School certificate showing Date of Birth
b) Copies of Senior Secondary Certificate and marks sheet
c) Copies of Graduate/Post Graduate and mark sheets in support of essential
qualification and any higher qualification.
